Bruce William Minyard, 73, of Grovetown, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025.

Bruce was a lifelong Augusta native and retired as an electrician with Minyard Electric. When not working he enjoyed fishing, yardwork and gardening. He also loved to watch football and baseball cheering on the Braves, Falcons, and his Dawgs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Annie Lue Minyard; and his siblings, Edna Stewart, Shirley Fields, and Leroy Minyard.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Minyard; sons, Bruce Minyard Jr and Shaun Minyard; his mother-in-law, Martha Brizius; siblings, Vernon "Bunny" Minyard, Vivian Wheeler, Edith Rickerson, and Helen Byce; and two grandchildren FarrahJean Minyard and Daylon Minyard, as well as many nieces, nephews and other family members.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
