(Reville) Story

Obituary

Bridgett was only 3 pounds, 7 ounces when she was born in Augusta, Georgia, at 5:18am on February 21, 1974, so she was born a fighter! She always excelled at anything she did because she put her whole heart into it. At the age of 6, she won the Georgia state clogging championship. In high school she entered a poetry contest and won 2nd place in the state! She graduated from Lakeside High School in Evans, Georgia in 1992. She then went on to get a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Augusta State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling Studies at Capella University. She worked at Planned Parenthood, Hephzibah High School, GHSU, she opened and operated a daycare center, she worked at Medical Center of Georgia, Alliance Hospice and the Place at Deans Bridge. She also owned and operated Bowwow Meow In-Home Pet Sitting. On December 15, 2022, she went peacefully with the angels early Thursday morning after a three year battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer that had metastasized to her bones, brain, lungs, and heart. But she did not leave us without a fight. She fought with everything she had, but you would have never known because she always had a smile on her face, a big warm hug, and kind words for everyone in her path. She made all who knew her BELIEVE she was winning every inch of the way. She refused to let anyone see a tear or a doubt or fear in the face of one of the most aggressive cancers there is. Brave, resilient, strong, loving, ferocious, joyful, confident, passionate, energized, vivacious and beautiful inside and out. Now she is dancing in the sky without pain and celebrating a life lived to the fullest and cut short at 48 years young. Bridgett loved everyone without any judgment. She was the kind of friend, daughter, sister... that would be the first one there for you and the last one to leave. She would wrap you in her love and make you feel special and cared about, and then she would make you laugh! And animals, she loved them every one! Didn't matter if it had 2 legs or 4 legs or 3.... She was an animal lover. She leaves behind Tony, Lanie, Penny, Jim and Whiney, but that doesn't count the other 1000 or so that she has loved or cared for along the way! Bridgett was a brilliant light, and she shined like the sun on all who knew her. Bridgett is survived by her "forever boyfriend" and partner in life, Josh Anderson; her mother and stepfather, Bob and Pam Kolodziej; stepmother and her husband, Tammy and Thorsten Wardemann; brother and his wife, Bruce and Audra Reville; nieces, Taylor Dickson, Christina Reville and Alix Reville; nephews, Johnathan Reville, Christian Rowson and Markus Rowson; great-nieces, McKinley Reville and Karolyn Reville; stepbrother, Sean Boseman; and so many friends that she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Boseman. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 6:00 - 8:00pm on Monday, December 19th, 2022, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, Ga 30907.
