Entered into rest on February 10, 2017 Mrs. Brenda Johnson James wife of 33 years to Mr. Allen Roy James of Blythe, GA. Mrs. James was a member of Blythe Baptist Church. Mrs. James was the daughter of the late Fred and Nora Johnson. She was preceded in death by her brother James Johnson and sister Jewel Oxford. Additional survivors include 2 sons Brian (Christine) Johnson of Hephzibah, GA. and David (Brenda) James of Augusta, GA., 1 brother Fred Johnson of Augusta, GA., 1 sister Dorothy (Jesse) Hornsby of Blythe, GA., 3 grandchildren Brandon Johnson, Gabriel Johnson and Elise James, 2 sister-in-laws Linda Newsome and Suzie White and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 11:00am at Blythe Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Angel Maestre officiating. The family will receive friends tonight Tuesday February 14, 2017 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the funeral home.
