Mrs. Bonnie Richey Grubbs, 77, of Leah, Georgia, entered into rest surrounded by family, in the comfort of her home, on Friday, August 19, 2022.

Born in Toccoa, Georgia, and a lifetime resident of Columbia County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Richey.  Miss Bonnie was a homemaker who enjoyed dining out with friends and family, and spending time with her two dogs, Missy and Sassy.

Family members include her children, Vince (Renee) Williams of North Augusta, SC, and John Williams of Leah, Georgia; three grandchildren, Ashlee (Daniel) Hughes of Thomson, Georgia, Hannah (Cole) Johns of Evans, Georgia, and Harley Williams of Augusta, Georgia; and one great-grandson, Cotton Hughes of Thomson, Georgia.  Miss Bonnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Williams; her second husband, Tommy Grubbs; her son, James (Jim) Michael Williams; a brother, Edward Richey;  and a sister, Patricia Anderson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00pm on Monday, August 22nd, 2022, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022, at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery, 6375 Ridge Road, Appling, GA 30802.
