Billy "David" Wright, Jr., age 70, of Thomson, Georgia, passed away on June 12, 2026.

David spent much of his career working as a dental laboratory technician. Outside of work, he enjoyed golfing, boating, and spending time at the lake. He appreciated being outdoors and found enjoyment in the relaxation and companionship that came with his favorite pastimes.

David is survived by his son, Billy David Wright, III "Trey" (Jennifer), and his grandson, William "Fisher" Wright. He is also survived by his mother, Margie Wright; his brother, Tony Allen Wright; and his sister, Tonia Lea Dye (Huey).

He will be remembered by family and friends who shared in the moments, experiences, and memories of his life. His passing marks the loss of a father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend whose memory will remain with those who knew him.

A private gathering of family and friends will be held to honor and remember David's life.

Though he has passed on, the memories he leaves behind will continue to be cherished by his loved ones.
