Hunter Overton, 24, passed away peacefully at his residence on Dec 7th, 2022. He was born in Augusta, GA. Hunter graduated high school from Burke County in 2019. Hunter was a loving and happy child full of energy for himself and everyone around him and the greatest joy of his life was his grandparents, Johnny and Ida Overton who cared for him until Johnny's death in 2003 and Ida's death in 2012.

Hunter is preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Overton; and grandmother,  Ida Overton who he called mama. Hunter is survived by his daddy, Roy (Valerie)Overton who cared for him until he took his last breath and went home to be with Jesus and  mama; his mother, Dawn Parkman; his eldest  brothers, Daniel Overton, Mitchell (Amber)Overton, Corey Overton and younger brother, Dawson Overton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews .

No services are scheduled at this time. A memorial service for Hunter will be announced at a later date with immediate family attending.
