Mrs. Beverley Elaine Chavous Colson, 58, wife of the late Henry Berry, entered into rest on October 15, 2021.

Mrs. Beverley was born in Augusta, GA, and was the daughter of the late Iverson Bernard Chavous, Sr., and Bobbie Lou Gilbert McKenzie (George). Mrs. Beverley was a Richmond County Communications Officer, Operator 70, for 911 Dispatch. Before that she co-owned and operated Jolly's Restaurant at 12th and Ellis St. for over 20 years.

Survivors include her son Dustin Colson (Dede), of Augusta, her daughter Nikki Fralick (Russell), of North Augusta,her childrens father Howie Colson, her brother Butch Harvey, (Linda), of Augusta, her sister Wanda Fleming (Tom), Jacksonville, Fl., and three grandchildren Holley, Addison, and Lucy, who were the light in Bebe's eyes. She was preceded in death by her sister Vickie Hickerson and her brother Bernie Chavous.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM, and a Memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM in the Chapel at the funeral home, with Rev. Thomas Stokes officiating.
