Betty Seibel, 93, of Augusta, passed away on March 5, 2025.

Betty was an accountant at Fort Gordon. She was an active member and volunteer at Martinez Methodist Church. She loved to travel, sew and spend time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Otis Griffith, Sr. and Elizabeth Coffman Griffith; her husband, Lenhardt "Len" Seibel; her brother, Thomas (Tommy) Griffith, and her son: Michael Seibel.

Survivors include her siblings, Nancy Bell, Shirley Long, Dixie Sue Taylor, Barbara (Bobbie) Housden (Bruce), Scotty (Buddy) Griffith, Rex Griffith, and Franklin (Frankie) Griffith, Jr., all residing in Luray, VA; her children, Wesley Seibel (Linda), Ronald Seibel, and Walter Seibel; her grandchildren, Ashley McKee (Kevin), Micheal Williamson (David), and Amber Parker; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Logan, Brantley, and Oliver.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 10, 2025 at Martinez United Methodist Church with Pastor Brian Beveridge officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Martinez Methodist Church.
