Bessie A. Marks, 85, wife of the late James Smokey Marks, entered into rest on Friday, May 24, 2024.

She is survived by her son, Nickie Marks; daughter, Peaches Marks; and grandsons, Andrew Marks and Christopher Marks.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00pm to 11:00pm on Monday, May 27, 2024, and from 12:00pm to 11:00pm on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 720 Telfair St., Augusta GA 30901, with interment immediately following at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta GA 30904.
