Mrs. Bernice Pope Dorn, 81, beloved wife of the late Alvin H. Dorn, entered into rest Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Dorn was born in Moultrie, GA to the late Wesley Pope and Pearl Bohler. She loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be graveside at 11:00 A.M on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Wayne Usry officiating. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Dorn. Family members include 2 sons, Alvin "Buster Dorn, Jr. and Mark Allen Dorn, both of Martinez; 5 grandchildren, Virginia Reed (Neal) of Grovetown, GA, Brandon Dorn (Emily) of Grovetown, GA, Bo Tyrpin (Stephanie), Robert Tyrpin (Ashley), and Josh Tyrpin; 5 great grandchildren, Haley Dorn, Bridget Dorn, Harper Reed, Virginia Reed, and Neal Reed III; 1 sister, Jackie Orlando; 1 brother, Allen Youngblood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
