Barry Davis Sr., 55, of Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Barry is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Davis and Marion Davis of Augusta, Georgia. Barry is survived by his loving wife Tina Davis; his sons, Barry Davis Jr. and Evan Grunfelder; his daughters, Lauren Davis, Taylor Davis, and Catherine Mulherin; his brother, Chris Davis; and his beautiful granddaughter, Payton Davis.

Barry served with RCSO for 17 years (1987 - 2004), Road Patrol/FTO with RCSO, Traffic Division, Point man SWAT Team, DEA, and so much more with RCSO. He loved that job! He was a Mortgage Loan Officer for 17 years and loved this job, as well. He would always tell people, "I went from kicking doors in, to opening doors for people." He recently returned to his true passion of serving with his fellow LEO brothers and sisters when he joined Thin Blue Defend in June 2022 to serve as national sales manager. Barry was a proud Mason of the Grovetown Lodge and an honorary member of the Martinez Lodge. He was Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on November 18, 2002.

In his spare time Barry enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldawgs, woodworking, fishing, and he never missed an opportunity to play golf with friends. His infectious personality lit up every room. As he never met a stranger, Barry will be dearly missed by countless friends and family, but never forgotten.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 11:00am - 1:00pm on Saturday, February 25th, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
