Barbara Alice Sprong-Daugherty-Wildasin, age 75, of Evans, GA passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024.  She was born in Michigan City, IN on January 19, 1949, to Arnold and Alice (Slechta) Sprong.  Barbara spent 24 years as a Bradenton FL resident, before retiring to Evans GA in 2008.

She is survived by her daughters, Erika (Jay) Waldron and Michelle (Dan) Finn; grandchildren, Ryan (Allison) Waldron, Connor (Sarah) Waldron, and Ian Waldron; three great-grandchildren; cousin, Don Scheberle; and nephews, Christopher Sprong of Mechanicsville, VA and Bryan Sprong of New Smyrna Beach, FL.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Roger Sprong.

Barbara was a graduate of Michigan City's Elston High School and attended Ball State University.  She worked for Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium in Sarasota, FL, until retiring in 2008.  Barbara was a loving mother, wonderful grandmother, and dear friend to many over the years.  She will be missed and remembered fondly by all that knew her.
