Barbara Ann Aufiero, 71, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Barbara was born in Shirley, MA, on February 22nd, 1951. She was a resident of Martinez, GA since 1991.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Aufiero; her daughter, Deborah Canada; her sons, Christopher Aufiero (Sharon) and Michael Aufiero (Lori); her grandchildren, Kristen Herndon (James), Ansley Aufiero, and Joey Aufiero; her sister, Marilyn Sullivan; her brother, Bruce Prunier; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. She is preceded by her father, Edward "Howard" Prunier, and her brothers, Wayne Prunier, Kenny Prunier, Neil Prunier, and Danny Prunier. Barbara was a dedicated wife, mother, and nanny/nanna. She loved spending time with her family and friends and especially loved to play bingo!

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, April 12th, in the Chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd, Martinez, GA 30907. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Donations can be made to the Columbia County Senior Center in Barbara's memory. The center asks checks to be mailed or delivered to 5913 Euchee Creek Dr, Grovetown, GA 30813.
