AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Barbara "Bobbie" Powell 74, beloved wife of Mr. Anthony "Jimmy" Powell, entered into rest Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Trinity Hospital. Mrs. Powell was born in Augusta, GA to the late George and Bessie Mae Etters Cliett. She was a member of Belair Baptist Church and had sung with the Sounds of Victory and the Powell Family singers. She was a devout Christian and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and shall be greatly missed. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home with Pastor David Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Passworth Cemetery. In addition to Mrs. Powell's parents, she is also preceded in death by 2 brothers; Alvin Cliett and Everette Cliett. Additional survivors include 2 sons, Tim Powell (Beth) of Martinez, GA and Glenn Powell (Monica) of of Statesboro, GA; a daughter, Angela G. Mobley of Augusta, GA; 2 brothers, Fennis Cliett (Tina) of Augusta, GA and Richard Cliett of Augusta, GA; 4 sisters, Carol Hobbs of Augusta, GA, Deanna Williams (Jack) of Martinez, GA, Debra Thomaston (Tony) of Grovetown, GA, and Rhonda Flanders (Mike) of N.
