Mrs. Artith Gail Boatright Slantis, 56, joined the Lord's Angels on April 9, 2021, after a brief illness. She was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church.

Artith loved all children and was a nanny to as many as possible to include her nieces and great nieces. She spent her career as a truck driver with her partner Tony.

Survivors are her parents Milton and Gail Murphy Sheppard. Her father Randall V. Boatright, Jr. (Susan). Her siblings Keron Love, Bert Boatright (Chong), and Randy Boatright III (Elisia). Step-siblings DeAun Gilreath, Michael Sheppard, Nick Sheppard, Brittney Lively, and Shelby Chamblee. She is also survived by Dalton and Kelsey Slantis who she forever called her own.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Slantis, Mike Love, Nick Sheppard, Michael Sheppard, Vic Sheppard, and Lee Durham. Services will be Tuesday in the Chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral home at 1:00 PM.
