Arthur "Joe" Yoho peacefully entered into rest on Sept.26th, 2017 at the VA Medical Center. Joe was born on April 3,1935 as the youngest of 8 children.He was adopted as an infant and was the child of Joe and Mae Yoho. He married his teenage sweetheart,Sharon Goodrich on July 7th ,1955. He served the city of Abilene TX. as a Policeman and attended McMurray University. After serving as a circuit preacher for the United Methodist Church,Joe joined the U S. Army. He served three tours in Vietnam,receiving commendations and honors, After spending 20 years in the Army,Joe worked on aspects of the US Space project, he also taught electronics at the Academy of Richmond County,and also served as an instrumentation specialist on Johnston Atoll for the US Dept. of Defense. He was a member of Blythe United Methodist Church,the American Legion post 150 and was a Mason. He is preceded in death by his son Wilson Gregg Yoho,his parents, and in-laws, his 7 brothers and sisters and many close friends. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years Sharon and his two children. Christopher (Deanne) Yoho ,Aletha (Eric) Snowberger. He derived great joy from spending time with his grandchildren,great grandchildren,godchildren,and his Bath Edie Rd community. The family will receive friends Sunday Oct 1,2017 from 5-7 pm at Blythe United Methodist Church. The service will be Monday Oct, 2 2017 3;00 Pm at the church with Dr. Frances Ford and Rev. Thurman Norville officiating and interment will follow at the church cemetery with full Military Honors.The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Church. Thomas L.
