Anthony "Tony" Raffa, 52, of Augusta, GA, entered into rest on Friday, May 31, 2024, at his residence.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Lorra Ann Merritt; and step-father, Ken Merritt. He is survived by his father, Anthony Raffa; his brother, Andrew Poligo; sisters, Tanya Frattroli and Lisa Widener; son, Anthony Grant Raffa; daughter, Arianna Grace Raffa; grandson, Wesley Near; nephew, James Merritt; niece, Autumn Bradford; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends.

Tony worked as a contractor for over 35 years, building and remodeling homes for countless families across the CSRA. Tony was dedicated to his work, and above all his family. Tony worked hard, played harder, and loved deeply. He enjoyed living life to the fullest, even if it meant a few broken bones along the way. Friends and family would describe him as a fun-loving jokester. All who knew him would say he had a big personality, but an even bigger heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His absence will be deeply felt, and he will be greatly missed by all. "Love you too."

A celebration of life will be held at Tony's residence at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
