Anthony Kurt Rackard, 59, entered into rest on Friday, November 3, 2023, peacefully at his home surrounded by family.

Anthony is preceded in death by his father, Henry Fletcher Rackard; stepfather, Jimmy Delaughter; and his first wife, Nora Rita Rackard. He is survived by his second wife, Cathy Ganus Rackard; mother, Barbara Payne Delaughter; brothers, Terry Carl Rackard and Alex Levi Delaughter (Shanon); nieces, Vanessa Rackard, Danielle Rackard, Jennifer Rackard, and Ashton Johnson (Brett); nephews, Garrett Delaughter and Brandon Tobias; great-niece, Kadence King; Uncle Milton and Aunt Nadine; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family.

Anthony was retired from Edgefield County Sheriff's Department after 21 years of service, and he is a former member of Merriwether Fire Department. Anthony will be missed by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Pineview Memorial Gardens, 450 W. Five Notch Road, North Augusta, SC 29841, with Dr. Paul Noe officiating.
