Anthony Douglas Hester entered into rest on February 22, 2024.

Survivors include his parents, Dave and Carolyn Hester; his sister, Donna Hester; nieces, Nicole Clinebelle (Daniel) and Whitney Hester (Dakota); and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 26, 2024 at Abilene Baptist Church, 3917 Washington Rd. Martinez GA 30907, with Rev. Dr. D. Brad Whitt and Rev. Dr. William F. Harrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery, 3917 Old Abilene Church Rd. Martinez GA 30907. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be, George Dunaway, Dale Cliett, Steve Loflin, Don Goff, Jack Brock, and John Troisi.
