Mrs. Annette Smith, 71, of Evans, entered into rest on September 1, 2024.

Annette was a lifelong area resident. Family was of upmost importance to Annette. She enjoyed spending time with her children, her grandchildren and great grand children. She was supportive of any activities her family was involved in and would even pick up her grandchildren and great grandchildren from school. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Doris Dodgen; and her sister Kathy Odom.

Survivors include her husband, David E. Smith Jr.; children, Holley Pendergrast (Steven), and David E. Smith III (Jenny); 7 grandchildren, Dana, Lauren, Brooke, Jack, Belle, Davis, and Blair; and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd. Augusta GA 30906. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Allen Odom, Dennis Smith, Michael Smith, Heath Smith, Brian Saxon, Bobby Bozeman.
