Ret. CMSgt. Larisey L. Jarrett Jr. passed into eternal peace on September 21, 2025. Larry was a native son of Augusta Ga. born on Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1942, to parents Larisey L. Jarrett and Dorothy Sizemore. He had 5 brother's Jerry (William), Bobby (Robert), Rusty (Mike), Chris Jarrett and Joseph Zale as well as 1 sister Joanne Jarrett Paulos. Larry attended Aquinas HS in Augusta earning many accolades for playing football as a member of the "Fighting Irish" with his brother Jerry. He immediately joined the Armed Forces after graduation in 1960 eventually serving for 32 years.
Their story began on his 1st duty station in Madison, Wisconsin, where he met the love of his life and future wife and mother of his children, Her name was Anne Chamberlain and it was love at first sight, they were married a year later.
Anne E. Chamberlain Jarrett followed her beloved husband of 62 years into eternal life on December 13, 2025, they are together once more, for eternity, Anne was a Jefferson, Wisconsin native, born on September 21, 1942 from parents Arnold Chamberlain and Verna A. Schwartz Chamberlain. She grew up on a farm with her sister's Carol Chamberlain Germunson & Mary Ellen Chamberlain Ganser as well as her brother Arnold Chamberlain Jr. She graduated from Jefferson HS in "60, Anne married Larry in "63 on September 14th. Together they built a legacy of love and commitment, traveling the world from station to station and raising 2 children Lee Anne Jarrett and Larisey L. Jarrett Jr.the 3rd. They later became Grand parent's ,to Erin Anne Jarrett and Kylee Aspen Jarrett and eventually, having 3 Great Grand children, Adalynn Alexa Jarrett, Madison and Rowan Benson. Their home was place of love, laughter and tradition, they taught their children the value of loyalty, perseverance, empathy and unconditional love, which we will all be forever grateful for. Our hearts are heavy from their loss in our lives..Until we meet again.
