Obituary

Angie "Sissy" Holloway Hogan went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 29, 2024. She was born March 23, 1968 in Augusta, GA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Emory Johnson; step-father, Neal Johnson; father, Welcome Steve Holloway; and her precious Lucy.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Duane, and daughter, Taylor and her husband Lewis Jones; fur baby, Charlie, and granddogs Zoe and Moo; her siblings, Timmy Holloway (Shannon), Emory Holloway (Kim), Judy Holloway Russell (Jeff), and David Holloway (Pam); father and mother-in-law, Tony and Connie Hogan; sister-in law, Shannon Hogan Fredericks (Stevie); her nieces and nephews, Chase Lord (Mandy), Chad Lord (Sarah), Josh Holloway (Jenny), Katie Holloway Whitaker (Josh), Jake Holloway (Tori), Corey Holloway (Kaleigh), Kendyl Conner, Myranda Conner (Shawn), Harper Fredericks, Eliot Fredericks, and Sawyer Fredericks; and many loved cousins and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Angie was a lifetime resident of Evans, GA, graduating from Evans High School in 1986. She married her soulmate, high school sweetheart, and best friend, Duane ("Dane"), and was the epitome of the perfect mama bear, not only to Taylor and Lewis, but to anyone else they brought into her circle. Angie was loved by every single person she met and she never met a stranger. The best feeling in the world was to be loved by her. She lived life to the absolute fullest and encouraged others to do the same. She was an avid Georgia football fan and you'd find her on her back porch any given Saturday in the fall, likely with the whole family she invited over to cheer on the dawgs. She was the hostess with the mostest and loved hosting niece and nephew nights and planning a good party for any occasion. She had discovered her passion for real estate later in life and truly cared for each and every one of her clients.

She would encourage you all to "book that damn trip"  and "get the damn pool". She will be missed sorely by so many who are looking forward to the day we see her again.

The memorial will be at Parkway Baptist Church, 2543 William Few Parkway, Evans, GA, on Thursday, February 1, 2024, with a visitation at 11:00am and service to follow. The family requests all friends and family wear their casual red and black or UGA gear, because that's what Angie would want.

Fly pretty, Mama Ang. Love you most.
