Andrea Marie Schofield, 63, entered into rest on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Andrea is survived by her oldest daughter, Patricia Weeks; middle daughter, Allison Lenartz; and youngest daughter, Jaimie Mixon; her mother, Katharina Rettinger; her oldest granddaughter, Stella Lenartz; granddaughter, Sadie Weeks; granddaughter, Emma Mixon; and her grandson, Charlie Lenartz. She is preceded in death by her father, Kurt Rettinger.

Andrea was a registered nurse and worked up until a few months ago at Augusta University Medical Center. She touched the lives of so many and molded a large array of ICU nurses by her sharing of her experience and knowledge.

Andrea was from Vienna, Austria, and she carried with her a love of traveling and trying new things. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids. She also loved her faithful dog, Rocket, who in the end tried protecting her from all. Andrea was a great mother and friend, and she will be missed deeply.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:30am, followed by a memorial service from 10:30-11:00am, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 825 N Belair Rd Evans, GA 30809. All are welcome.
