Amelia Tiller Johnson, 67, of Grovetown, Georgia, passed away on August 14, 2022, with her family by her side.

She was born to the late Traylor and Rosemary Tiller on October 28, 1954, in Evans, Georgia. Amelia graduated from Evans High School in 1972. Amelia was married to Dwight Johnson Sr. in 1969. They lived in Evans for over thirty years before relocating to Grovetown in 2001.

Amelia is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dwight Johnson Sr.; two children, Dwight Johnson Jr. of Augusta, and Marie Moye of Charlotte, NC; and two grandchildren, Preston and Andrew Doody.

Amelia had a natural talent for musical instruments. She especially loved playing the guitar, piano, organ, and harmonica. Amelia was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 19, 2022, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907, with interment immediately following at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
