Mr. Al L. Robinson Jr. , beloved husband of 29 years to Regina Robinson, entered into rest Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Doctor's Hospital. Mr. Robinson was born August 7th, 1957 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He is preceded in death by his Father, Alfred Leon Robinson Sr., Mother, Bettie Ruth Moore, and Brother, Dennis.
Mr. Robinson was a 34 year veteran of Law Enforcement, serving in South Georgia for 4 years, Grovetown Department of Public Safety for 12 years before then being promoted to Chief of Police and serving for another 12 years. Mr. Robinson moved to Coleman, Georgia and served as the Chief of Police for Andrew College for 2 years before starting his career as a Richmond County Marshal for the last 4 years.
Mr. Robinson was known in the community as a strong leader, and a caring friend. Most importantly, he will be remembered by his family as a devoted and loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, go cart riding, boating, NASCAR races, and Alabama Football..... ROLL TIDE. He will be dearly missed for his loving demeanor, incredible sense of humor, quick wittiness, and infectious laugh.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include one son Darryl (Tiffany) Wallace of Harlem, GA., Amber (Jason) Lucas of Selma, AL., Ashley (Brian) Ditty of Eatonton, GA., Alicia Wallace of Phoenix City, AL., and Chelsea (Timothy) Hardin of Columbia, SC. One sister Lucy Ann Erwin of Fayetteville, NC., and sixteen grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Richmond County Marshal's Office and local Law Enforcement.
