Albert Herman Jansen, Jr., 94 of 403 Normandy Place, entered into rest Tuesday, August 9th, 2022 at VA Hospice. Mr. Jansen, a native of Augusta, served in the US Navy on the USS Missouri battleship in World War II. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelors degree. He retired as co-owner of McGowan printing co. He was a member of our Redeemer Lutheran Church. He is survived by two sons, Greg Jansen, Augusta, GA, and John Jansen, Norcross, GA; two daughters, Victoria Fitzpatrick, Atlanta, GA, and Karen Ditty, Melbourne, Australia; and eight grandchildren.
