IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ada
Clark
May 10, 1951 – August 15, 2025
Ada Estrella (Kessel) Clark of Martinez, Georgia, peacefully entered into rest on August 15, 2025, surrounded by 4 generations of family.
Ada was born on May 10, 1951, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Hayward Franklin Kessel and Margie (Rollins) Nessar-Brown.
Ada was an avid floral designer who loved all things related to the garden. A longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully in numerous callings and roles within her local congregation. She had a deep passion for genealogy and volunteered in the Family History Center for 25 years.
Ada was a self-taught artist and she created many drawings and paintings that her family and friends are left to enjoy and cherish. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her or meeting her would undoubtedly proclaim that she was the most compassionate, selfless, and loving individual they had ever encountered - her inner beauty shone just as brightly as her outward radiance.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Ada took immense pride in being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. This devotion was reflected in her favorite quote: "The most important work you will ever do is within the walls of your home." - Harold B. Lee
Ada is survived by her loving husband of 56 years,Michael Clark; children Michael (Cathy) Clark II, Dianna (Brian) Brown; sisters Deborah (Dave) Arney, Charlene (Jim) Otto, and Cindy (Brian) Wagner; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; and many nephew and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah (Clark) Grimes and her brother, Daniel Kessel. We take comfort in knowing they are joyfully reunited in Heaven, where we will one day feel Ada's warm embrace again.
A private memorial service will be held at Bellevue Cemetery on September 20th at 11:00 AM.
